Barrenness Redeemed. If I had to rename my blog right now, it would have something to do with that. Having spent almost half my life grappling with what it means to be a woman born without a womb, I can see more clearly how the Lord pulled me out the deepest confusion and despair and brought me to LIFE.

My name is Connie. I’m a Catholic, a marketing copywriter, a wife to James, and a mom to Gabriel, our son we adopted from China in 2019. I’d like to call myself a world traveler as well, but I haven’t been to nearly enough places to make a living on Instagram, so I’ll let you be the judge.

This blog is about my journey through faith, with all of its ups and downs. It’s about having the courage to live the life that we know God has planned for us, and all in his time.

Romans 8:28

  2. Nice to learn more about! I agree, it is a balancing act savings $$$ for trips and adoption. In the midst of infertility, traveling has been such a bright spot and blessing. But we need to save for adoption too. 🙂

  3. Thanks so much for your reflections. I am currently starting a Catholic outreach to couples struggling with infertility, now that I have come to a peaceful acceptance of it in my own life. God bless you! Mary
